Privacy Policy

When you use Carby, you submit car listing text or a URL to our service. No account is required.

• Listing content — The text or URL you paste is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your analysis. We do not permanently store your listing submissions.
• Analytics — Carby uses PostHog for product analytics. This may include anonymized usage events (e.g. “analysis submitted”) to help us improve the product. No personally identifiable information is attached to these events.
• No account data — Carby does not collect your name, email, or any personal information in the current version.

• Your listing text is sent to the Claude API (Anthropic) to generate the deal analysis. Anthropic's own privacy policy governs how they handle that data.
• We do not sell, share, or license your data to third parties.
• We do not store your listing submissions after the analysis is returned to you.

Carby may use minimal session or analytics cookies via PostHog. These are not used to track you across other websites or build advertising profiles.

Carby includes affiliate links to CARFAX Canada and insurance providers. Clicking these links may result in Carby earning a commission at no cost to you. These partners do not receive your listing data.
